Official Post-Jam (Final?) Build


Hello all,

We managed to submit our game before the deadline, but there were a few polish items missing. 

So for now, this is the definitive post-jam build. This build adds:

  • Linux support.
  • Updated Title and Credits screens to use new fonts and better visuals.
  • Updated the Splash to be in-line with the Title screen.
  • Added a couple new sound effects.
  • Version number now appears on Title screen.
  • Behind the scenes build process improvements.

The original Jam-day build includes:

  • 2 Rooms and 2 Hallways
  • Nearly 50 different items and descriptions
  • Just about 150 different lines of dialogue.
  • Some cool sound effects
  • Puzzles
  • Scares
  • A mysterious ally (or enemy?)

We have an entire extra room that was designed, written, illustrated, and processed, but left on the chopping room floor due to time. On top of that, Shawna sketched an entire 4th room, the team designed it, and Lucas wrote everything for it, but we didn't have time for final art or code. Maybe over the coming weeks we will revisit the wild world of LECTO!
